Our commitment is to education, but our size is small and our
resources are limited. Rather than running complete schools:
- we support teachers in
small village schools in Burma and in Thailand,
- we support boarding
houses near schools for children in remote areas,
- and we give scholarships
to over one hundred fifty students.
We travel to Asia each year
to monitor our projects, and students. |

Perhaps as
many as a million people have been driven from their homes by
the Burmese army. Many flood across the border to remote areas
of India and Thailand. On the left is shown some of our party as
they travel to visit two remote villages in Thailand where we
have support small primary schools. |

the left was taken at Ramkhamhaeng. At well over 100,000
persons, Ramkhamhaeng is one of the largest
universities in Thailand. Tom is asking a student, Chalermporn, about his plans to use his education in economics
in the future. |
